IRMA P.E. POTENCIANO

 

Irma P.E. Potenciano is a founding member of the Vocal Ensemble Philippines.

 

She was the only Filipina singer to record with the London Philharmonic Orchestra with her recording of Philippine love songs, Iniibig Kita.

 

Maestra obtained her Bachelor of Music degree, major in Voice (1961) and Master of Music in Voice Performance (1964) in UST.

 

She studied in the US with Olga Eisner of New York, Hans Bruck, and Felix Wolfes at the New England Conservatory of Music.

 

She is currently the vocal coach and a faculty member of UST Conservatory of Music and the Philippine High School for the Arts, and chair of Dr. Victor Potenciano Medical Center (formerly Polymedic General Hospital).
